What aspects of your Business Studies course have you found useful in your more recent studies / work life?

Getting an understanding of how a business works has helped me in my own work life as I can now help out with the running of the business.”

Why do you think Business Studies is a good option to choose at GCSE?

“It helps you to start getting a better understanding of the financial world.”

Why did you choose to study Business Studies at AS / A2?

“I really enjoyed it at GCSE and thought my knowledge of the subject was good enough to push on.”

What is the most demanding / difficult element of Business Studies?

“Maths and economics.”

If you could give any advice to year 9 students thinking of opting for Business Studies, what would it be?

“I think it is a really good subject and well-worth taking.”

“Understanding of business working impacted on my work life and business understanding has complimented other topics and subjects.”

Why do you think Business Studies is a good option to choose at GCSE?

“It links to thinking outside school and broadens horizons.”

Why did you choose to study Business Studies at AS / A2?

“Only available subject that interested me, although I did consider dropping it at the end of year 12 as I was studying 4 subjects. But I decided to carry on and enjoyed it.”

 What is the most demanding / difficult element of Business Studies?

“Economics/Maths.”

If you could give any advice to year 9 students thinking of opting for Business Studies, what would it be?

“Make sure you have an interest in a wider world and watch the news.”
