How do you think Business Studies will prepare you for life outside of school?

“When I go to get a job I will have a better understanding of the way the business works, for example workers’ rights.”

Why do you think Business Studies is a good option to choose at GCSE?

“It is very general so it will give you a wide idea of how the business works in future jobs.”

What is the most demanding / difficult element of Business Studies?

“Topics are straight-forward, however there is a structure to answering questions which can be difficult at times.”

If you could give any advice to year 9 students thinking of opting for Business Studies, what would it be?

“To take the subject as it is interesting and informative.”

Finally, what is your most memorable moment from studying Business at Y Pant?

“Going on the school trip to Prague and visiting the different businesses.”

How do you think Business Studies will prepare you for life outside of school?

“It will prepare you for future careers that may not be linked in to creating your own business, for example you learn the rights of being an employee.”

Why do you think Business Studies is a good option to choose at GCSE?

“It is quite a general subject so it teaches you how businesses develop and the things that are taken in to consideration when creating a business. The work isn’t too much so you don’t feel pressured.”

What is the most demanding / difficult element of Business Studies?

“Nothing is very difficult as work is spread out over two years.”

If you could give any advice to year 9 students thinking of opting for Business Studies, what would it be?

“If you enjoy the idea of how a business works then you should consider choosing the subject as it is very enjoyable and you are able to go on loads of fun trips for experience.”

Finally, what is your most memorable moment from studying Business at Y Pant?

“Going to Prague to look at production within businesses.”
